At this point, it probably would have just been cheaper to buy out the Lego C
ompany in the 80s

That is perfect to go with my LEGO VW Beetle!
A bit lumpy looking though. Hard to get those italian curves in LEGO.

This is amazing, but also ridiculously expensive.... :(
Also, THE STEERING WHEEL IS WRONG! As a FIAT fan, I must protest that it should be a two-spoke wheel, not three-spoke like in the model! *hmph* :P

Actually, $89.99 for 960 pieces is not bad when it comes to L ego . Yes, it is expensive, but not ridiculously so. It’s far from the worst value for what you get, anyways. The 007 Aston Martin DB5 set from a while ago was much worse at $150 for 1, 295 pieces. With the average price of a L ego piece being about 10 cents, that means that in theory the Lego Fiat 500 is about $6 underpriced while the DB5 is about $20 overpriced. To be fair, it also has the James Bond license, but it’s still not the best value. The Fiat is much better. Also, if I recall correctly, that would make the Fiat the cheapest Creator Expert car so far...

Yeah, it’s not a bad bad value I guess....guess I am thinking to when I was a kid and the more complex Lego Technic kits and the like were like $30-40 bucks :P

Yeah... though to be fair, the average size of Lego sets was actually smaller back then, and of course there’s inflation. Interestingly, although the average price of Lego sets has gone up since then with the increased average size of sets (even adjusted for inflation) , the price per part ratio has actually gotten better since the 80's, s o Lego being more expensive now is actually an illusion.

Maybe I’ll get one, but I already think I have enough Legos.

That’s not possible.
